Overview

Dana Nicole Oswald completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law after earning an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Conflict Studies and Human Rights (with a minor in History and French Immersion) from the University of Ottawa in 2019. During law school, Dana served as Vice President of Social Affairs and later Co-President of the University of Ottawa’s Black Law Students’ Association chapter, participated in the Hicks Morley Moot and worked as an Assistant Editor of the Ottawa Law Review.

Prior to and during law school, Dana held roles in immigration fraud investigations, immigration policy design and assistive technology training, winning the Deputy Minister Award for Excellence in Policy Design. Her interests include corporate and real estate law, and her favourite law school courses included Applied Corporate Governance, Real Estate and Negotiation.
