Jaishree Nayyar

Jaishree Nayyar completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Common Law after earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Toronto in 2019 and a Master of Arts in Sociology in 2022. During her graduate studies, she co-authored research published in the American Sociological Review. Jaishree graduated Magna Cum Laude, earned Dean’s List standing for three years and received the Class of 1979 Entrance Scholarship for academic excellence.

During law school, Jaishree competed in the Nelligan Law Moot and served as a mentor in the Allies in Law Mentorship Program. She also gained legal experience through an internship with Taxpayer Law Professional Corporation. Jaishree is interested in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and corporate finance.
