Dana Kiefer has a general commercial litigation practice. She has particular experience in labour and employment, the energy industry, civil matters, contractual disputes, collections matters, as well as landlord tenant disputes. Dana has assisted on matters before all levels of Court in Alberta, the Alberta Human Rights Commission, and the Canadian Human Rights Commission. She has also appeared in front of Canada Labour Code adjudicators.
Dana has presented publicly on topics of interest in employment and labour, and has assisted in editing numerous employment and labour textbooks. She also has publicly presented on, researched, and assisted with the complex topic of impairment in the workplace.
Dana was a Summer Student with the firm in 2014 and 2015, and completed her articles with the firm. Prior to law, Dana pursued a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources and Organizational Dynamics, and was accepted into law school prior to completing her undergraduate degree.
