Izabella (Bella) Johnston

Izabella Johnston completed her Juris Doctor at Queen’s University, after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in 2022. During law school, Bella developed a strong interest in corporate and business law, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, private equity, and tax law. Her academic interests were reflected in her studies, with Structuring Business Transactions, Taxation, Contracts and Commercial Law.

In addition to her studies, Bella served as Co-President of the Queen’s Corporate Law Club and volunteered with the Queen’s Law Alumni Relations Committee. She was also involved with the Queen’s Law Cancer Society’s annual Cabaret for a Cure event. Prior to and during law school, Bella gained experience through roles in client service and event operations.
