Shari has a corporate and securities law practice focusing on corporate finance and M&A. She draws on her regulatory knowledge and client-focused approach to provide thoughtful, practice and tailored advice.

Overview

Shari assists clients with a range of corporate transactions, including asset and share purchases, plans of arrangement, corporate reorganizations and various financing structures such as private placements and shares-for-debt transactions. She also provides ongoing advice to public companies on regulatory compliance, continuous disclosure obligations and stock exchange requirements. Shari is committed to delivering timely, detail-oriented legal solutions that align with her clients' business goals.

Shari was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022 and holds a joint JD/HBA from Western Law School and Ivey Business School, respectively.

Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Shari summered and articled with the firm, gaining hands-on experience in corporate and securities law. During her articles, she was seconded to the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission where she gained valuable insight into regulatory compliance and capital markets enforcement.
