Overview

Liam Dodge completed the Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor (BCL/JD) program at McGill University’s Faculty of Law after earning a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Ottawa in 2022. During law school, Liam developed interests in commercial litigation, tax law, regulatory and compliance matters and international investment disputes. His academic and extracurricular contributions were recognized by the McGill Law Students’ Association, which named him Most Involved 1L and Most Generous Note Sharer.

In addition to his studies, Liam held a number of leadership and experiential learning roles, including serving as Senior Managing Editor of the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law, Vice-President of Partnerships, 1L President for the McGill Law Students’ Association and a caseworker with the McGill and Concordia Legal Clinics. He also gained practical legal and policy experience through positions with the Commissioner of Canada Elections, the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, the Government of Canada and the Cour municipale de Montréal.
