Matthew Carter

Matthew Carter earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, where he was actively involved in community-focused initiatives through Pro Bono Students Canada, including the Elementary School Mock Trial program and the Business Venture Clinic. During his legal studies, Matthew developed a strong interest in corporate practice, supported by coursework in entrepreneurial law and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to law school, Matthew earned a degree in Applied Economics from Queen’s University. He also gained valuable professional experience as a Transfer Pricing Analyst and Reinsurance Analyst, where he developed analytical and financial skills related to cross-border business and commercial matters.
