Yuliya Bairamova
Articling Student

Yuliya Bairamova joined Bennett Jones as a summer student in 2024 at the Calgary office, returning to the firm as an articling student in 2025.
Overview
Throughout her legal studies at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, Yuliya was an editor for the Saskatchewan Law Review and completed an internship with the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan. She also participated in various extracurricular activities, including the Corporate Law Club, Women in Law, and the Legal Follies 2025 Backstage Crew. Yuliya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Calgary, and a Legal Assistant Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, where she received a Bronze Medal.
Yuliya is actively involved in her community, and has volunteered with the Calgary Zoo, the Calgary Food Bank, and was a former reservist with the Canadian Armed Forces. She also spent several years working for Alberta Health Services, which helped develop her communication and conflict-resolution skills. Yuliya is fluent in Russian.
