Yuliya Bairamova completed her articles with Bennett Jones LLP in Calgary in 2026. Prior to articling, Yuliya worked as a Summer Law Student and Legal Assistant with the firm, gaining experience across a variety of legal matters and practice areas.
Yuliya earned her Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, where she received numerous academic awards, including the E.F. Whitmore Prize in Property, the Gerda Bloemraad Prize in Immigration Law and recognition for outstanding legal writing. She also served as an editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review and completed an internship with the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan.
Before law school, Yuliya completed a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Calgary and a Legal Assistant Diploma from SAIT. Yuliya's diverse background includes experience in healthcare, hospitality, the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, administration and customer service, which has strengthened her practical problem-solving skills and taught her to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
