Dane Patton

Dane Patton has a financial services practice, with a particular focus on project, aviation and equipment finance. He also maintains a construction practice emphasizing the business aspects of the construction industry.

Dane has a significant interest in aviation and is an active private pilot. He is routinely engaged in the financing, leasing and acquisition of private and commercial aircraft around the world. Dane also has experience with the regulatory aspects of both piloted and remotely piloted aircraft operations.

Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Dane practiced at the Calgary office of a multinational law firm. He also spent eight years working in project management and business development for a large multinational construction firm on projects throughout Western Canada, the Maritimes and the American Gulf Coast.

Dane serves on the Board of Directors of the Calgary Flying Club and volunteers with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
