Partner Vasilis F.L. Pappas participated in the ICC Canada Arbitration Committee’s annual Alberta Arbitration Roundtable on March 12, 2026. Vasilis joined a panel of distinguished arbitration practitioners to explore the latest developments in arbitration agreements and the evolving role of experts in dispute resolution.

During the “Hot Topics Roundtable,” moderated by Tom Wagner, Vasilis led a discussion on rethinking the role of experts in arbitration, sharing practical insights drawn from his extensive experience in complex international and domestic arbitrations. The session also covered key arbitration issues, including interim injunctions, recovering damages for breach of arbitration agreements, and strategies for efficient lower-value arbitrations.
