Christopher Petrucci spoke at the Canadian Bar Association's International Law Section' session on how COVID-19 has reshaped international commercial arbitration practice and dispute resolution.

Christopher shared practice insights, recent developments, and his thoughts how international commercial arbitration may be practiced post-pandemic. Specific areas that were discussed included:

  • novel issues related to procedural fairness in virtual hearings;
  • how to prepare for virtual hearings, and virtual advocacy tips generally;
  • drafting arbitration clauses to account for COVID-related concerns; and
  • one-year post-pandemic, what have we learned, and what opportunities lay ahead?
