The Lawyer's Daily reports on Daniel Cheng receiving a Governor General's Medallion in Beijing on July 14. The award was presented to Daniel by the Governor General of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston. The Governor General stated that Daniel's work “to foster a strengthened relationship between Canada and China is appreciated by so many," and that “R.B. Bennett would be very proud” of Daniel's accomplishments.
