In the Canadian Press article, “Rebounding Stock Markets Linked to Spate of Hostile Takeover Bids,” Kristine Owram interviews Perry Spitznagel about the relation between recovering stock markets and the refusal of target companies to sell at market low prices. Perry comments, “more and more targets are rebuffing the advances of buyers, it's probably because there's a disconnect between the perceived value of the targets versus the value equation for the buyer.”
