William L. Britton, Q.C., was honoured in a Canadian Press story that appeared in media outlets across Canada. Bill was a legendary leader and longtime colleague of Bennett Jones. Bill joined the firm in 1962 and spent his entire legal career with us. Following his retirement as a partner in 2005, he served as our Chairman Emeritus. He served as our first Managing Partner for 16 years, from 1981–1996. Bill passed away peacefully on February 6, 2017 at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving family. Bill Britton Passes Away
