Phillip Hanna maintains a broad corporate commercial law practice with a focus on commercial transactions, infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate/commercial matters, including project development, asset and share purchase transactions and financing transactions.
He has participated in a range of transactions in various sectors, including construction, energy, manufacturing and services. Phillip regularly assists clients in drafting infrastructure and energy contracts related to the development of oil and gas and renewable resources.
Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Phillip summered and articled with the firm. Phillip previously worked as an engineer-in-training with experience in the oil and gas service, exploration and production, and utilities pipeline sectors. As an engineering graduate, Phillip leverages his technical background to provide clients with practical advice on all aspects of their projects and transactions.
Phillip also serves as the corporate secretary for the Canadian Global Affairs Institute.
