Dylan Gibbs has a general commercial litigation practice that includes matters involving complex contract disputes, fraud, defamation, and insolvency. Dylan appears regularly before courts in Alberta and has assisted with matters in other Canadian jurisdictions.
Dylan is an active member of the community and currently serves as a Director for the Epilepsy Association of Calgary. He is also an avid writer, having published legal articles on insolvency law and Canada's constitution.
Before joining the firm as an associate, Dylan served as a law clerk to the Honourable Justice Russell Brown at the Supreme Court of Canada. Prior to that, Dylan clerked for the Justices of the Court of Appeal of Alberta.
Dylan received his law degree from the University of Alberta, where he received the Judge's Bronze medal for class standing. He also received the Chief Judge Nelles V Buchanan Memorial Prize in Litigation and a Dickson Medal for exceptional oral argument performance at the 2017 Gale Cup Moot.
