Renée Gagnon's practice focuses on litigation and administrative law. Her experience includes professional negligence and discipline; civil fraud and asset recovery, employment matters, estate litigation, and corporate commercial disputes. She is known for her persistency to find expedient ways to end her clients' lawsuits.
Renée has appeared in all levels of the Alberta court system and before several administrative tribunals and appellate panels.
Renée is active in the community. She regularly presents on a variety of legal topics to lawyers and professionals. Renée is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, and sat on its Health Law Committee and Legislative Review Committee (North). She has also served as Treasurer and Director of Volunteer Alberta's board.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Renée was an assistant business manager at a large Canadian lifestyle company and worked in human services for a not-for-profit organization, assisting Albertans with removing barriers to finding employment. In her practice, Renée applies this background in business management and psychology for a practical view on her clients' legal needs and demands.
