Our International Trade and Investment group is expanding and is currently seeking a Junior Associate (0 to 2 years' experience) to join its highly acclaimed practice in our Toronto office. This group is well positioned in all aspects of international trade and investment law with experience that spans domestic trade laws, international rules and treaties, and international dispute settlement in trade and investment matters. The ideal candidate will called to the Bar in Ontario or in another province in Canada, have a demonstrated and specific interest in international trade and investment treaty law, including customs, trade remedies, export controls, sanctions, anti-corruption, government procurement, investor-state disputes, and WTO law. Relevant accounting, statistical analytics, economics, commercial, litigation, and public international law backgrounds will be considered assets.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career and skills as part of a growing and very successful practice and will receive advanced training, mentoring and significant client exposure. This is the ideal position for someone who demonstrates strong initiative, has excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills and who is a consummate team player.
