Duncan Card, a partner in the firm's Toronto office, moderated a
panel discussion that reviewed convergence from a variety
standpoints including telecommunications and broadcasting. Content
management and protection, new distribution platforms, broadcast
vs. broadband, data protection and security, and regulation vs.
deregulation were among some of the legal issues
and challenges also discussed.
This two-day conference took place in Vancouver, British Columbia.
