Canadian Lawyer spoke with Claire Kennedy about being one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women in the Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) Top 100 Awards for 2017. Claire commented on being a board director, her advice for future generations of women lawyers, and why women should “seize the opportunity when it arises. It may arise at a time when you think you’re not ready for it—if it’s interesting and rewarding, it’s probably a bit of a stretch assignment. You have to go for it. If it doesn’t give you a bit of a queasy feeling, you’re probably not pushing yourself hard enough.”
