Bennett Jones is pleased to announce that Riley Whitlock has joined the firm as a partner in Calgary. His practice is focused on commercial real estate, project finance and municipal, land use planning and development.

Riley has extensive experience in acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of commercial real estate, including office towers and industrial, shopping centre and condominium properties. He has represented public and private REITS, lenders, developers, and wholly owned municipal corporations with the acquisition, development and financing of some of the largest projects in Alberta.

Riley is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association.  Additionally he is an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association, Southern Alberta Commercial Real Estate Subsection, was named as Canada Leading Lawyers for Business: Real Estate (Alberta) and recognized by Best Lawyer as "One to Watch" in Real Estate Law.
