Bennett Jones is pleased to announce that David E. Gruber has joined the firm as a litigation partner in the Vancouver office. David practices in the areas of corporate commercial litigation, restructuring and insolvency, arbitration and class actions.

David's corporate commercial litigation experience includes shareholder and partnership disputes, breach of contract cases, securities matters and allegations of breach of fiduciary duty.
He represents corporations of all sizes, professional services firms, governments, public and quasi-public institutions and private individuals.
In restructuring and insolvency, David represents monitors, trustees and receivers, as well as creditors and other affected parties, primarily in large-scale CCAA and Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act matters.
David holds a diploma in International Commercial Arbitration and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada. He is ranked as a leading lawyer in several Canadian and international legal directories.
A native of Washington DC, David made British Columbia his home more than 20 years ago. In addition to his law degree, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and worked for an architectural magazine in New York City prior to beginning his legal career.
