Bennett Jones LLP is pleased to announce that Len Griffiths has joined the firm as an environmental partner in the Toronto office.

Len was one of the first lawyers in Canada to be certified as a specialist in environmental law, and is the vice chair of the Law Society of Upper Canada's Environmental Specialty Committee. He is recognized as a leading practitioner in Canada, and as one of the world's top ten environmental lawyers. He is the former chair of the Ontario and Canadian Bar Association's environmental sections and a founding member of the Canadian Centre for Environmental Arbitration and Mediation.

Len assists businesses with the environmental aspects of mergers, acquisitions and financings, environmental management systems, environmental assessments and audits, civil litigation, prosecution, regulatory matters and the redevelopment of brownfields.
