Summarize
Bennett Jones was honoured in two categories at the fourth annual Benchmark Canada 2016 awards. Michael Eizenga, head of the firm's Class Actions practice, was recognized as the Class Actions Litigator of the Year. Bennett Jones was also named Energy/Resource Litigation Firm of the Year.

Benchmark exclusively covers the litigation and disputes market in North America, covering Canada, the US and Mexico. Nominees for the 2016 awards were chosen based upon research conducted between September and December 2015.

Michael is recognized as one of Canada's leading class action litigators. He advises and represents clients on all issues relating to class proceedings, including product liability, securities, competition and other commercial matters.

Bennett Jones' Energy Litigation practice is distinguished by a complete understanding of the technical aspects of the business. The firm's lawyers possess the educational background and industry training to operate in the language of clients—from a geological, environmental or engineering perspective, or when interpreting reserve, scientific or financial reports.
