Christopher McKenna is responsible for the operation and administration of junior associate and student programming in Toronto. He is actively involved with in-firm orientation and training, performance reviews, mentoring and recruitment of junior associates and summer and articling students and also participates in law school recruitment events and pro bono activities. Christopher is also a member of the National Association of Law Placement (NALP), current Chair of the OCI Advisory Committee and has previously both written for the NALP Bulletin and presented at Annual Education Conferences. He completed his Mental Health First Aid Training Certification in April 2022.

Christopher has a general litigation practice focusing on corporate commercial, estate, regulatory and class action litigation. He has appeared and assisted in the representation of clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Christopher is an adjunct professor for Osgoode University where he co-teaches the Advanced Commercial Litigation Workshop, a course designed to expose future lawyers to corporate commercial litigation.

Christopher is an active volunteer for Law Help Ontario and regularly acts as duty counsel at both the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Small Claims Court, as well as amicus at the Ontario Court of Appeal. He is a member of The Advocates Society and the Ontario Bar Association.

Christopher joined Bennett Jones after summering and articling with the firm.
