Kim has extensive experience as a Trademark Agent, and has been recognized as a leading practitioner in the WTR's Top 1000 for the past two years. She has been working in the area of trademark law since 1993 and has been a registered agent since 1998. She is a Fellow of IPIC (Intellectual Property Institute of Canada). She is past councillor of the board of IPIC and the CIPO/IPIC Exam Board. Kim is the Chair of the Edmonton IPIC Informals Group.
Kim is experienced in trademark searching, application prosecution, opposition, Section 45 expungement proceedings, and international portfolio management.
Kim assists a variety of trademark clients from small businesses to large international corporations.
In addition to trademark matters, Kim is experienced in the area of copyright registration in both Canada and the United States, and domain name registration and related management.
She has extensive public speaking experience pertaining to intellectual property and related corporate matters. Kim serves on the IPIC/CIPO Bank of Speakers.
