She regularly assists with drafting and updating workplace policies and employment agreements. Katelyn has represented clients in a variety of wrongful dismissal and human rights matters at judicial and administrative proceedings, as well as attended at, and worked to resolve, numerous grievance arbitrations. Katelyn also provides advice on labour and employment related aspects of corporate transactions. Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Katelyn worked as in-house labour and employment counsel at a utility company and was previously an associate at another leading Canadian law firm. Recent Experience • BioLife Solutions, as Canadian counsel, in its acquisition of PanTHERA CryoSolutions • Blue Ant Media in its go-public transaction by way of reverse takeover of Boat Rocker Media • MustGrow Biologics in its acquisition of NexusBioAg, which provides crop nutrition solutions, including micronutrients, nitrogen stabilizers, biostimulants, and foliar products, from Univar Solutions Canada • Recognize Partners, as Canadian counsel, in its acquisition of Blue Mantis and its subsidiaries in the US, Canada, and India, from ABRY Partners • The Founders in connection with the sale of a majority interest in LiftWerx Solutions to the TowerBrook Delta Fund managed by TowerBrook Capital Partners. • Capvest Partners in its acquisition of Recochem, a Quebec based manufacturer of aftermarket transportation and household fluids. |
