 Bennett Jones Education University of Toronto, Trinity College, BA (Hons.), with high distinction, 2022 Western University, JD, 2025 Bar Admissions Maja Soltysiak joined Bennett Jones as a student in 2024 at the Toronto office. Overview Throughout her studies at Western University, Maja competed in the Arnup Cup and Sopinka Cup Trial Advocacy Competitions, worked as a research assistant for Professor Manish Oza in contract and administrative law, and served as a student editor for the Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence. She was also co-president of the Western Health Law Association, where she demonstrated her leadership and organizational skills. Maja is actively involved in her community through her work as a piano instructor and her contributions to volunteer organizations focused on music education. She also spent several years working as a court reporter and transcriptionist at Henderson Reporting, which helped develop her skills in legal analysis and attention to detail. Maja earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, Trinity College, with a focus on Philosophy, Bioethics, and Music History and Culture in 2022. |
