John negotiates side letters on behalf of Canadian institutional investors and is familiar with the typical formation documents required on the sponsor side in Ontario. He has been involved in a number of fund formation transactions involving non-Canadian managers that have opted to organize a limited partnership under Ontario law. John also acts for clients in connection with various securities, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters.
