She has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, and various tribunals. Overview Valérie holds dual law degrees in civil and common law and represents clients in both English and French. She approaches complex legal issues creatively and through a global lens. Having represented highly sophisticated clients, including governments and crown corporations, as well as having served the Supreme Court of Canada as a research assistant during her legal studies, Valérie's approach to client service is diplomatic and tactful. Throughout her legal career, Valérie has volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario's Legal Advice Hotline. Before joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Valérie summered, articled and worked as an associate in the litigation group of a full-service international law firm. Prior to law school, she trained as a professional ballet dancer. |
