Hind Masri has a corporate practice in capital markets with a focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, including asset and share purchase transactions, public plans of arrangement, takeovers, amalgamations, public and private equity and debt financings, corporate governance, and reporting issuer compliance. Hind has acted for both issuers and underwriters in connection with domestic, cross-border and international prospectus offerings and public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.

In law school, Hind won the Bryden Family Prize in Administrative law, the Allen M. Ruben, Q.C. Award for Humanitarian Leadership, the Christopher Hicks Scholarship in criminal law and graduated on the dean’s list. Prior to starting her articles at Bennett Jones, Hind clerked at the International Criminal Court as a clerk with the Appeals Division. 

In addition to English, Hind speaks Arabic, and speaks, reads and writes French.

The syndicate of underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC in Liberty Utilities Co.'s offering of US$600 million of 2.050% Senior Notes.
Canadian Natural Resources Limited, in its approximately $460-million acquisition of Painted Pony Energy Ltd.
Bird Construction Inc., in its $96.5-million acquisition of Stuart Olson Inc.
Parkland Corporation, in its $400-million private placement of senior unsecured notes due 2028.
Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., led by a syndicate of agents, Scotia Capital Inc. and CIBC Capital Markets, in the bought-deal offering of common shares in the amount of $633-million and the concurrent financing of $350-million.
Cresco Labs Inc., in its $55 million "at-the-market" distribution of subordinate voting shares via a short-form prospectus supplement.
Gibson Energy Inc., with its $3-billion short-form base shelf prospectus filing.
Parkland Fuel Corporation, in a US$500-million private placement.
The syndicate of underwriters, led by RBC Capital Markets and CIBC Capital Markets, in the $100 million bought deal offering of common shares of Chorus Aviation Inc.
RBC Dominion Securities Inc., as lead agent, with Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp.’s US$250,000,000 "at-the-market" distribution of common shares via short-form prospectus supplement.
ZCL Composites Inc., in its approximately $312-million acquisition by Shawcor Ltd. by way of plan of arrangement.
Velvet Energy Ltd., in its acquisition of Iron Bridge Resources Inc. by way of takeover bid.
Parkland Fuel Corporation, in its $300-million note offering.
Canadian Utilities Limited, in its public offering of $200 million of preferred shares and debentures.
TriWest Capital Partners, one of Canada’s leading private equity firms, in partnership with senior management and existing shareholders, in its investment in Lithion Power Group (fka HPC Energy Services Ltd.).
