Leanne Krawchuk is a dynamic legal advisor with a practice spanning complex corporate transactions, mining and resources, construction and infrastructure, capital markets and securities. She brings extensive experience advising mining producers on high-stakes supply agreements, streaming and refinery arrangements, option and joint-venture agreements involving precious metals, base and industrial minerals and critical minerals. She has acted on major M&A and restructuring transactions in Canada and internationally, including distressed-asset acquisitions.

In her corporate and securities practice, Leanne regularly guides public and private issuers, and other market participants through capital-raising, reverse take-overs, reorganizations and amalgamations. She has significant experience interacting with securities regulators and stock exchanges in complex transactions.

Leanne also brings a robust construction and procurement practice, advising owners, contractors, consultants and subcontractors on large-scale construction contracts, risk allocation, over-arching procurement strategies and bespoke contracting frameworks in the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

Clients rely on Leanne’s ability to draft, negotiate and oversee commercial agreements for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, long-term supply, offtake and purchase arrangements in sectors that include mining, construction, engineering, oilfield services and technology.

Leanne is a dedicated supporter of organizations in the Edmonton area, currently serving as a member of the Concordia University of Edmonton Business Advisory Council and on the board of the Edmonton Community Foundation. She is a former director of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business and former member of the Alberta Securities Commission Securities Advisory Committee.
