Overview

Sarah Karlson earned her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review Journal. During her legal studies, she was also involved in student community initiatives, including founding the Cribbage Club and participating in the Women and the Law Club. Sarah developed academic interests in real estate law, corporate law and intellectual property, supported by coursework in real estate transactions, unjust enrichment, intellectual property law and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to law school, Sarah earned both a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Master of Arts in English Literature from Queen’s University. She gained meaningful professional experience working as a Legal Research Assistant at Thompson Rivers University, conducting complex legal research, interviewing Indigenous government representatives and municipal officials across Canada.
