She has held roles including Year Representative for the Students’ Law Society, Chair of the Windsor Law Bridge Initiative, and representative for both the Corporate Law Club and OUTlaws. Alancia has also been recognized for her academic and community leadership through several awards and scholarships. Before enrolling in law school, Alancia earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of British Columbia, where she also played rugby. She has professional experience as a lifeguard, private swim instructor, and research assistant. In her free time, Alancia enjoys sports, travelling, and mentoring others.
