Laura Inglis provides strategic advice on all aspects of the employment relationship. She also assists employers with health-related employment law issues and regularly represents physicians in administrative, litigation, and professional discipline matters.

Laura has extensive experience representing physicians and surgeons in regulatory and litigation matters, including malpractice actions, professional discipline, privileging, and privacy issues. Recognized as a leading medical negligence and professional liability lawyer, she is a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals requiring assistance to resolve health-related legal disputes.

In addition to maintaining a busy litigation practice, Laura is also a sought-after speaker and writer. She is a contributing editor of the Annotated Alberta Employment Standards Code—she frequently presents on a range of topics including employment law, health law, and governance issues. In addition, she co-authored the Canada chapter in Global Investigations Review’s Practitioners Guide to Global Investigations, discussing the nuances that arise in investigations.
