David Hawreluk is an impactful litigator, appreciated by his clients and peers for his creative and business-minded approach to dispute resolution. As the firm's Co-Head of Commercial Litigation Practice, David has been recognized by Canada Best Lawyers for Corporate and Commercial Litigation and was ranked in the 2020 Lexpert's Special Edition on Canada's Leading Litigation Lawyers.
David's legal practice is focused entirely on complex contract and commercial litigation matters, representing clients primarily in the fields of civil, commercial and industrial infrastructure, oil and gas, agriculture, and multi-tenant real estate development. David and his team of litigators and staff have extensive experience with contract and construction disputes, including sophisticated, multi-party commercial and construction litigation, arbitrations and mediations.
As part of his practice, David has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, the trial division of the Federal Court of Canada and various arbitration, administrative, mediation and regulatory panels.
As an actively involved member of the legal community, David has been an instructor for the Alberta Bar Admission Course and at various Legal Education Society of Alberta seminars.
