Nicolas Francis practices corporate and securities law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, reorganizations and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Nicolas was a varsity athlete, served as the Managing Editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and held positions with the University of Toronto, the Bank of Montreal, and MasterCard.
In 2015, Nicolas was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission.

- TerraPro Group Inc., an Alberta-based provider of environmental, terrain protection and remote access solutions, in connection with its reorganization pursuant to a plan of arrangement and concurrent refinancing.
- Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd in connection with its agreement with a syndicate of underwriters, co-led by BMO Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets for a bought deal prospectus offering of approximately $173 million.
