He has acted on behalf of clients across a variety of industries, including in the pharmaceutical, auto manufacturing and insurance sectors. Tom has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Court of Appeal for Ontario and the BC Supreme Court. He has experience arguing motions, assisting clients with defending multi-jurisdictional class actions and conducting internal investigations regarding governance matters in large public companies. Prior to joining the firm, Tom summered and articled with the firm. During his time at law school, Tom received the Laskin Prize in Constitutional Law. Additionally, he and his team received awards for their oral and written advocacy in the 2019 Davies’ Annual Corporate/Securities Law Moot. Tom is a member of the Advocates' Society and the American Bar Association.
