 Bennett JonesEducation Concordia University, Bachelor of Arts, 2022 University of Montréal, BCL/JD, 2026 Bar Admissions Overview Alexi completed his Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor at the Université de Montréal in 2025, where he remained actively engaged in both academic and extracurricular activities. During law school, he participated in the Laskin Moot Court Competition and was part of the first-place team in a Real Estate Investment Pitch Competition. Alexi also worked as a research assistant for Professor Patrice Deslauriers, focusing on civil responsibility, and gained experience at boutique firms specializing in immigration, criminal and general practice law. His community and extracurricular involvement included participating in Model United Nations and the Concordia Sailing Team. Before law school, Alexi earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Law and Society from Concordia University in 2022. He also worked as a freelance journalist, further developing his interest in media and communications. His favourite areas of study included insurance law, alternative dispute resolution and constitutional law, and he is particularly interested in litigation matters relating to civil responsibility, insurance law and media law, including defamation. |
