Carlota Claveron-Wilkins CCS

Carlota is an International Trade and Investment Specialist at Bennett Jones. She joins the firm’s international trade and investment practice after several years working at another Canadian law firm.

Carlota has deep knowledge and extensive experience working on matters of concern to Canadian importers and exporters, including customs and trade remedies (anti-dumping and countervailing duties and other special tariffs). She is a Customs Certified Specialist, recognized by the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers, and brings this designation to her work on complex customs procedures and compliance. She has substantial experience in trade remedy matters, having spent 21 years conducting investigations and preparing accounting analyses for government and business clients across a broad range of industrial and commercial sectors.

Carlota is also an internationally trained and accredited professional accountant and applies these skills to support clients in meeting their international trade compliance obligations and resolving Canadian regulatory disputes.
