Rajat Beniwal joined Bennett Jones as a student in 2025 in the Toronto office.

Rajat graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce before earning his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Delhi. He was called to the bar in India in 2019.

Rajat began his legal career as a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeal in Rajasthan, then joined a full-service law firm as an associate. He later completed a year-long secondment with Amazon India’s in-house legal team.

He is actively involved in the legal community through the South Asian Bar Association, where he volunteers as a student liaison, and also serves as a crisis responder with Kids Help Phone.
