Allison brings to us extensive experience in large-scale document management and major project organization that includes using both third party software, including Summation, Relativity and Eclipse, as well as developing specialized internal firm systems to manage both evidence and large-scale document intensive projects. Allison is extremely organized, proactive and committed to a quality work product and positive outcomes. Most recently, she worked with a large law firm running a collections practice and is able to draft pleadings from Demand Letter to Default Judgment and beyond.
Allison is well versed in procedures and documents relating to all levels of court in BC, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada and Federal Court and possesses a thorough knowledge of British Columbia's Supreme Court Civil Rules as they relate to the firm's litigation practice.
Having also worked at a municipal law firm for a number of years, Allison also brings to us well-rounded knowledge of local government issues, including commercial conveyancing, corporate/commercial transactions, construction litigation, land protection law, bylaw drafting and general contractual litigation.
Allison is a member of the BC Paralegal Association, and has been since 2009 as well as ILTA. Allison recently completed her Business Management Certificate at Simon Fraser University.
In her down time, Allison plays Vegas 8-ball (pool) and is past president of the BC Women's Pool League. She also enjoys fishing on the Fraser and spending time with her partner, Mike and their dog, Reilly, wherever they may be.
