Aoife practices corporate commercial law and advises private, public and non-profit corporate organizations on a variety of legal issues and transactions. She is regarded by clients for her responsiveness, pragmatism and dedication to protecting her client's interests and finding innovative solutions that advance the client's goals.
Aoife has represented clients as buyers and sellers both in and out of the oil, gas and energy sector in connection with amalgamations, share purchase transactions, asset purchase transactions, reorganizations, and has acted for issuers with respect to domestic, cross-border and international public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.
She regularly assists clients with the strategic structuring, drafting and negotiating of contracts and other commercial and template documents relating to a wide range of legal matters, including construction, supply, services, technology, intellectual property, privacy, and the onboarding and engagement of volunteers and contract personnel.
Aoife has particular experience supporting clients in the non-profit sector with corporate governance issues, including managing conflicts, providing guidance in respect of board meetings and procedures, and drafting key corporate governance documents and policies.
