Raphael Jacob has a general commercial litigation practice with a focus on construction disputes and medical malpractice claims.
Raphael represents companies with complex commercial disputes in a wide range of sectors. He has acted as counsel in ad hoc domestic and international arbitrations.
During law school, Raphael summered at the UN human rights office in Switzerland, competed in the 2016 Laskin Administrative Law Moot and volunteered with Community Legal Aid and Pro-Bono Students Canada. He also co-hosted Osgoode Hall's Mock Trial variety show.
Prior to becoming an associate, Raphael summered and articled with the firm.
Raphael is a member of the Calgary Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates' Society and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
He also volunteers regularly with the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project which aims to assist self-represented litigants appearing in Provincial Court.
