The Role:

The Graphic Designer plays a critical role in executing the firm’s brand and visual identity across all marketing, business development, and internal communication materials. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, Creative Lead, this role ensures that all creative assets adhere to brand standards, effectively communicate key messages, and support the firm’s strategic objectives.

The position is highly hands-on, requiring strong design skills, attention to detail, an ability to work from a creative brief, and proficiency in both print and digital media. The Graphic Designer collaborates closely with marketing, business development, and external vendors to develop visually compelling materials that enhance the firm’s market presence and client engagement.

Essential Functions:

Creative Design & Production (40%)

  • Design and produce high-quality marketing and business development materials, including web assets, event collateral, print and digital advertising, internal communications, presentations, and email marketing assets
  • Develop infographics, data visualizations, and compelling layouts to translate complex legal and business concepts into engaging, accessible content
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials, following firm-wide brand guidelines and creative direction from the Team Lead

Multimedia & Digital Asset Creation (20%)

  • Design and produce multimedia content including video, motion graphics, and podcast assets to enhance client engagement
  • Assist in the development of motion graphics, animations, and interactive content for social media and digital campaigns
  • Work with external vendors and the marketing team to ensure high-quality production of digital and multimedia assets

Brand & Merchandise Support (20%)

  • Maintain and enforce the firm’s brand identity across all platforms, acting as a guardian of visual consistency
  • Assist in the design and production of firm-branded merchandise to support business development, client engagement, and internal culture-building efforts
  • Ensure all promotional materials, merchandise, and advertising align with the firm’s elite client experience and branding standards

External Vendor & Production Coordination (20%)

  • Work with external production vendors, including printers, merchandise suppliers, and video production teams, to ensure high-quality execution of design projects
  • Assist in managing file preparation, proofing, and quality control for print and digital production
  • Ensure materials are produced on time and within budget, while maintaining brand integrity

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a field directly related to creative or visual communications—such as Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a corporate design role, preferably in professional services marketing
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) and strong skills in motion graphics and multimedia tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition)
  • Experience designing both print and digital materials, including web graphics, presentations, social media, and advertising
  • Strong understanding of brand identity, typography, color theory, and layout principles
  • Familiarity with web design best practices, UX/UI principles, and accessibility standards (AODA, WCAG)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
