Scott Azzopardi has a general litigation practice with a particular interest in commercial disputes, administrative law and providing research and opinions.
Scott Azzopardi has assisted with matters before all levels of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada, and has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
During law school, Scott received awards for academic achievement, including the C. Gordon Hynes Prize in Statutory Interpretation, and the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize. He placed first in the Chaitons Corporate Restructuring Moot, and the Lenczner Slaght Ethics and Professionalism Appellate Advocacy Competition, and was a finalist at the national Gale Cup Moot in 2015. Scott was also a student editor for the Canadian Journal of Law and Jurisprudence.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Scott articled with the firm.
